You might think that organic food is a fad only to be found in speciality shops.
You might think that because most people don't eat organic,
it must be something unusual.
The truth is that 'organic' simply means food in its purest form, grown
or produced without chemical aid. The kind of food that was eaten by everyone until
only a few decades ago, and not just by an exclusive few.
Seafood is now include into our inventory. There is still no organically certified seafood, we, however, only deal with seafood importers that are HACCP compliant. (See article on What is HACCP?)
HACCP Safety Program (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points)
From the time the seafood comes out of the water to the time it gets home with our customers there have been dozens of check points for safety. From licensed fisherman fishing in the correct waters during the right season, holding and shipping the fish at the right temperature and then continually monitoring it so we know it's safe at all times, this program ensures that we maintain the highest standards of quality and safety with our seafood.
Everyone has the right to eat well. To eat a balanced and diverse diet of pure,
wholesome, natural and nutritious food. Food you feel confident about
feeding to your family.
